Hosted within the broader TONIK innovation event at SILO, the programme is designed to bridge founders with experienced investors, mentors, and ecosystem operators. NorBANs General Secretary Rita Anson has been serving as host for the programme since the launch in 2023, ensuring a deliberate emphasis on elevating pitch quality, investor alignment, and deal-flow generation across emerging Nordic and North Atlantic markets.

Overview
The TONIK Pitch Competition programme combines a preparatory Startup Day with a live Pitch Competition, creating a structured pipeline from refinement to exposure. Founders are guided through mentorship, workshops, and expert feedback before presenting to a professional jury and audience. This format ensures that participating startups are not only showcased but meaningfully de-risked and investment-ready, aligning with NorBANs broader mandate of activating angel networks and facilitating high-quality early-stage investment opportunities.
STARTUP DAY
A full day before the main event designed specifically for startups, founders, and early-stage innovators. Spend the day with investors, mentors, and industry experts who will challenge your thinking, sharpen your pitch, and help you prepare for the Pitch Competition. Through hands-on workshops, focused mentoring sessions, and expert talks, you will refine your story, strengthen your strategy and gain practical insights you can apply immediately. This is your opportunity to learn, prepare, and grow and to enter Pitch Day with confidence.
PITCH COMPETITION –
Pitch live on stage at the main TONIK event in front of a professional jury and audience. Show your vision, impress the experts, and compete for amazing prizes! Previous years have seen 1st prizes in cash going as high as 70 000 DKK, with smaller cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd place as well.
STARTUP ZONE
Included in your participation you get to exhibit your product or idea, meet investors, partners, and attendees, and get full exposure throughout the event with your own booth in the exhibition area of the TONIK conference. This also includes side events to meet, mingle, and challenge the minds of investors, customers, founders, and more
