NorBAN offers free access to a Slack Workspace called NorBAN Ecosystem Hub for the entire angel ecosystem in Norway.
All members of NorBAN will get an invitation to this workspace, including access to our private members only channels in the workspace. We have channels that can be used for dealflow sharing, networking, financial advice, political discussion and coordination or anything else that is relevant for the investment community.

Channels
The slack workspace starts out with a set of public and private channels, more channels can and will be added as needed.
Public channels:
# announcements – For public service announcements from the NorBAN board or other approved actors in the ecosystem
# dealflow – To share vetted and personally recommended investment opportunties to the extended NorBAN network
# events – To announce public startup or investment related events and invitations, both from NorBAN and third parties.
# financial – For financial questions and discussions relevant for business angels.
# political – To take up political issues and discuss political challenges and improvements for the investment and startup ecosystems.
# social – Other channels are for work. This one’s just for fun. Get to know others in the network and show your lighter side.
Private channels:
# norban-members – Private channel for active NorBAN members for matters and members only activities and announcements.
# norban-advisors – Private channel for the exclusive use for the NorBAN Advisory board. Request access by email to [email protected].
All both public and private channels will be moderated by the NorBAN administration. Messages are subject to removal without warning if they don’t adhere to our Code of Conduct, and members can be banned from the platform after multiple or serious infractions.
Other platforms
NorBAN will occasionally use our group on Crowdworks in connection with dealflow sharing and evaluation connected to the delivery of angel training programs. You will get specific instructions on the use of Crowdworks or other dealflow platforms when this is required or expected as part of each angel training programme as they are held.
