Winter is drawing to a close, and as spring approaches we hope you have time for a short break with some news and ideas from NorBAN.
Since Christmas we have held Angel Mixers and Startup Spotlights for our members, but the biggest news may be that at the Future Insight conference last week NorBAN appointed the experienced entrepreneurs Lars Monrad-Krohn and Terje Ernst Mikalsen as honorary members of the association, for their long contribution to entrepreneurship and investment. More on this below.
We also have many new activities coming up, not least our group trip to the Tonik conference in the Faroe Islands and a new course in angel investing.

Next conference: TONIK in the Faroe Islands
Together with FarBAN, NorBAN is organising an exclusive four-day study trip for Norwegian angel investors to the TONIK conference in the Faroe Islands this May.
It is an opportunity to meet the local angel community in the Faroe Islands. A few tickets remain, and ticket sales close on 1 April.
NorBAN honorary members
At the Future Insight conference last week, NorBAN announced the appointment of Lars Monrad-Krohn and Terje Ernst Mikalsen as honorary members of the association.
Both were closely involved in building Norsk Data, and have since contributed substantially, as founders and through association work, to strengthening the ecosystem for technology development, entrepreneurship and investment in Norway.

On 27 April NorBAN again runs its popular course in angel investing.
